Calendar of Events for 2010:

February 2010 - Community Investment Grant Hearings 

A panel of local volunteers comprised of United Way of Delta County board members and other community representatives review the grant requests from United Way Member Agencies, hold hearings and determine how United Way dollars should be distributed for the benefit of the Delta County community. Their decisions are based on the identified needs of the community, the soundness of the programs and the ability of the Member Agencies to achieve the desired outcomes. Once the panel makes its funding recommendations, the full Board of Directors gives final approval. The money raised by the United Way of Delta County stays here to benefit Delta County residents.
